The app collects nothing

Sleek Mouse makes no network requests. It has no analytics, no crash reporting, no update check and no account. Nothing about you or your machine leaves your Mac, because there is no code in the app capable of sending it.

It writes exactly two things, both on your own disk:

• Your settings — chosen pack, enabled state, custom emoji — in the standard macOS preferences store.
• A copy of your original system cursor images, in Application Support, so that a crash can never leave you stuck with an emoji pointer. This file is deleted the moment your cursor is restored.

It reads the bundle identifier of whichever app is in front, in order to pick the right emoji. That value is used and discarded; it is never stored and never transmitted.

This website

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless and record page views and loading performance without building a profile of you or tracking you across other sites.

If you buy

Checkout is handled entirely by Polar, which is the merchant of record for this product. Your payment details go to Polar and their payment processor. We never see or store a card number.

To see, correct or delete anything held about you, email the address below. Purchase and tax records held by Polar as merchant of record are subject to their own retention obligations.
